Picture love...

I am smitten over this bike for two wall art!
I already have an idea where I could hang it
...now if I can just convince Guitar Hero to love it as much as me.

Way cooler then Santa Claus...

(Nick and Guitar hero doing the rock star hand sign)

That's right ladies and gentlemen, apparently guitar hero's are
way cooler then Santa Claus!
This is Nick (in the green) and he just loves
Guitar Hero.

Guitar hero and him have been talking on the phone a lot lately
(which I love my guitar hero for this because he just met this little boy a few months ago
through my family)
and they talk about all kinds of stuff
from girlfriends (remind you this kid is only 4)
to video games, and being on the road, and
lots more that only rock stars
can know about (that's what Nick says)

But the best part about it is that Nick shared with his friends
at school that he is friends with a rock star
and they didn't believe him
so like any little young boy would do
he got mad and told them that it's true and they
couldn't be friends with a rock star only he could
(Don't kids just say the funniest things?)
so my sweet, sweet guitar hero
gave Nick a pick (with his autograph) and was nice
enough to take a picture with him
so he could show his friends at school.

O, and Nick just discovered Guitar Hero on YouTube
so he can watch him whenever he is on
the road and now
he wants to be a guitar hero too!!!

Santa Claus who?

Just another day in Nashville...

I am loving this umbrella

I am smitten over these weekly updates

I can't stop listening to this song

I can not get over this great deal

I am not sure how I feel about this yet

I have been craving these

I can't wait for his new CD to come out

and I'm praying that Sunday comes fast so I can be with him again

Honey, I'm home!

Hey everyone, I hope your having a wonderful weekend!

I know I am...
Guitar Hero finally comes home today after being on
the road for 5 VERY long days!
I think we are going to try to get away from Downtown Nashville for a bit
and eat at one of our favorite diners, then maybe go for a stroll
in the park...since it's such a lovely day,
and of course
the best part of about him coming home
is being able to cuddle up and watch a movie before bed.
What are you doing this weekend?

Because there is nobody like her...

...She is the one that I can vent to when I'm mad no matter what time of day or night
...She is the one I can cry to when I'm sad and I know she will make me laugh again
...She is the one that makes each story from my past a little better, a little funnier, a little sweeter, and sometimes even a little magical.
...her name is Brandi... like the drink :)

...Sometimes we would stay up and talk about nonsense stuff
...sometimes we would create funny sayings of the week
like: You make my butt twitch (you should see the reactions you get with this saying)
...sometimes we would pretend to be chef's (who would have thought the more sweets you add together the less flavor you would get)
...sometimes we would do photo shoots (like the picture above taken by me)
...and maybe just sometimes we would dance around in our underwear and sing at the top of our lungs.

I have been blessed! Seriously this has to be the funniest and craziest girl I have ever met!
O the things we have done and the stories I could tell.
maybe one day I will share them with you but this post is just a shout out to a good friend because i miss her.

Since I moved to Nashville back in Oct. its been hard not having her right down the street for when I need a little girl time. Like yesterday, I was having a really rough day and all I could think about is if I was back in Kentucky I could just drive to her and she would make me laugh again. And I know today we have all this technology like emails, and text, and even phone calls but sometimes those things just don't cut it. Sometimes you just need that person around to give you a hug and let you know everything will be fine.

...well I guess she was feeling the same way yesterday because she called me (we are connected souls like that) unfortunately I missed the call but she left a voicemail saying she would try again today... which she did and after our 2hr phone conversation about nothing but random stuff, i feel so much better like nothing can bring me down.

So the point of this post is to say thank you to a very dear friend of mine
Brandi... because there is nobody like her

(photos taken by me)

You know it's bad when an 8 year old has more style then you...

... That's right I said 8 years old...

who is he you ask...

...Arlo Guthrie the son of the Matt Weiner, creator of TV series Mad Men

can we say future heart breaker

I have never seen a boy with so much style! Apparently this kid
has been styling himself since he was 3.
It started with a top hat that he wanted then came the
bow ties, velvet jackets, and ascots (what are ascots... i need to do some research)

O and did I mention he listens to Bob Dylan?!
Seriously this kid is too cool!

You can find more on Arlo Guthrie here

You should know up front this is not a love story...

500 days of summer

Starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel

I can not wait to see this movie. I love Zooey she is such a cute and fun actress. Plus this movie reminds me a lot of me a few months ago... I was totally against the idea of relationships... trust me... guitar hero went through a lot just to be with me and for that I will be forever grateful and will owe him a lifetime of sorry (I'm not a easy person to deal with... aka stubborn)

Would you live in a chruch?

While I was looking for houses for sale in my area I came across a church for sale and thought how wonderful it would be to live in a Church. All those stain glass windows, arch ceilings, and wood details. But how crazy to live in a Church right?... WRONG... Actually many people are turning old Church's into houses. And while it might take a lot of remolding and work the end product is very rewarding. Just check out these pictures below.

And if those pictures don't have you sold on the idea check out this video... I know it will!

P.S. I'm listening to my guitar hero in the other room rock out. I wish you all could hear him. He is truly one of the best guitar players in Nashville if not in the whole world (and I'm not the only one that thinks that) I love him and his playing : )

Something to think about...

Watch your thoughts

They may become your words

Watch your words

They may become your actions

Watch your actions

They may become habits

Watch your habits

They may become character

Watch your character
it

Will become your destiny

The Wonder of Women

"Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater. If you give her sperm, she'll give you a baby. If you give her a house, she'll give you a home. If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal. If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart. She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her.
So, if you give her any crap, be ready to receive sh*t"

Thanks again to guitar hero's mom for enlighting guitar hero on the ways of woman.

curly or straight, blonde or brunette...

Why is it that women always want the opposite of what they have? I have straight hair but I would kill or curly hair (or red hair) like the picture above... don't get me wrong I love my straight hair and the color but sometimes I would just like to know what it would be like to have full thick curls all around my face. I just think that it looks so beautiful and natural.
If you can change your hair, how would you change it?
I got bangs... and i have to say it's an easy way to change my look without chopping off all my hair.

9 words women use...

Thanks to Guitar Hero's mom Guitar hero has now learned what I REALLY mean when I say these words...

(1) Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

(2) Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

(3) Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

(4) Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

(5) Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of nothing.)

(6) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

(7) Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome' . that will bring on a 'whatever').

(8) Whatever: Is a woman's way of saying...Go to H...

(9) Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to # 3.

an unberrella...

or by pixie dust...

or even balloons...
as long as it takes me far, far away from home... i'm thinking Greece.

If you could go anywhere where would you go and how you get there?

Amazing wedding video...

Not only is this video amazing... being that it was shot by an old 8mm film video camara, but the music is pefect, the bride and groom are stunning, and the wedding was just breathtaking! Lucky for them they had a amazing friend to capture such an amazing day.
