HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE

I Love me some baby Conner!

About a week before Christmas I got the privilege of meeting my nephew baby Conner. From the first time I met him he stole my heart. I can't get over how tiny he is... or how much he sleeps. I love him so much and can't wait to see him again. Isn't he just precious?!

P.S. that said he has VERY long fingers for a baby... hmm, I am thinking future guitar star!

I can NEVER finish all of mine.

I can never finish my hot coco.

Thank goodness for Guitar Hero or I would waste so much.

(p.s. can anyone see Mr. Fickle laying down at our feet? He is such a couch hog)

It was a very good Christmas indeed!

Hello, guys and dolls.

How was every one's Christmas?

As you can tell mine was good.

Guitar Hero got me a wonderful painting by a good friend of ours.

It's our first piece of art.

and it couldn't be more perfect!

Nothing says I love you like a Johnny and June painting.

We got lots of other wonderful gifts too

My parents came in town before Christmas and spoiled us

with nice flat screen t.v. and a blue ray...

but we all know that is so I can keep entertained while guitar hero is on tour.

but on to better things then gifts...

This was mine and guitar hero's

first Christmas without our families

so this year we spent it making our own traditions.

For Christmas eve

we made homemade chocolate chip cookies

then sat down and watched the Grinch (the old cartoon version)

while sipping on hot coco

followed by me reading twas' the night before Christmas.

Overall, everything was grand!

Thanks to actually getting to spend a Holiday with my love.

We are in our new pj's (thanks to mom and dad)

and we have laid-out your Christmas cookies

now, we are just awaiting for your arrival.

Hey, someone had to make sure they were yummy.

All that work and they barely even lasted a day.

I love making Christmas cookies.

but not as much as I love eating them.

I eat so many that I make myself sick.

...but how can you not? They are sooooooooo good!

Not only do we have baby Conner to celebrate

we have our brother Tyler to celebrate!

He turns 22 this today!

I love you very much and I think you need to come visit me in Nashville ASAP!

December 16th will forever be an important date!

Guess what?...

My sister had the baby last night.

I am so thrilled.

I got a phone call around 6 o'clock' yesterday saying her water broke

and her contractions where 5 minutes apart.

They told me she kept wanting to call me but she was not allowed

and she needed to focus on breathing.

They also, said she took the contractions like a champ.

That she never screamed all she did was make a little grunting sounds.

Then, around 2:30 am I got another phone call

Saying that little baby Conner had arrived.

I seriously had tears coming down my face when I heard.

I am so excited about the new addition to the family.

I can't wait to get my hands on him and squeeze him.

...but you want to know the best part about all of this is?

We took bets on when he would arrive and my guess was the 16th!

That's right I am a winner and I owe it all to baby Conner!

He is going to be my lil rockstar and I can't wait to spoil him.

Rockettes!

This weekend was wonderful.

Guitar Hero had bought me tickets to see the Rockettes

as an early Christmas present.

and the show was amazing!

The high kicks, the costumes, the songs, the Nativity scene

all of it was just breathtaking!

Sadly, they would not let us take in pictures inside the show

but trust me it was beautiful.

If they are in a city near you, I highly recommend you going!

Good Food, Good Company, Good Conversation.

If there is one thing I love about living in Nashville,

It's living close by to the women pictured in the second picture.

I love them with all my heart.

After all, they are the only family I have in Nashville other than Guitar Hero.

and they are the ones who found me an apartment and roommate so that I could move to Nashville.

So, it was such a wonderful treat to have dinner with them.

The dinner was amazing Betsy (the lady to my left) is such a fabulous cook,

so fabulous, that she could open up a 5 star restaurant.

My Aunt Kim (the lady to my right) is so fascinating to talk to. The way she looks at life

really makes me think of things in ways I never had and I love that.

Overall, the evening was wonderful and lets just say...

Me and Guitar hero went home with happy belly's, big smiles, and lots of positive energy.
