Belle Meade Mansion.

Here are a few pictures, from when me and Guitar Hero visited the Belle Meade Mansion the other day. Yes, I admit we are still behind on doing a lot of Nashville tourist things, but we do try. In fact we were both very happy with the tour and the facts we learned about the mansion. I would recommend this if you come to Nashville and like learning about a little history of the town your in.

P.S. What is more cooler, then a place that allows you to love on sweet horses?

Cheesecake Factory.

Me and Guitar Hero went to the Cheesecake factory today for lunch and lets just say it was delicious! And I am not only talking about the Reese peanut butter cheesecake we had (not pictured because guitar hero dug into to fast) The main meal was so yummy and so were the views. I love the setting of that place... it makes me dream of what Europe would be like.

My weekend.

1. A bird watching, cat.

2. After the storm is over (nope, that's not photoshopped)

3. A chocolate cake that we devoured (or more like I did)

4. A non stop reading marathon that has been going on with me

A little behind.

I feel so behind on post. In fact these pictures were taken last week when my mom was in town. We had enjoyed a nice quite evening on the back porch watching lighting bugs and sipping on daiquiris.. which seems like forever ago now.

I still have a ton of video to upload and to make into little videos for y'all to watch from CMA Fest which I am hoping I get done this week. I am just sorry I am behind. But I do have some good excuses. Encore, had been at a doggy boot camp for over a week so when we got him back we have been doing nothing but giving him our full attention, then he got sick again but we are for sure we got it taken care of this time. And if that is not enough Guitar Hero has a lot going on and is about to get busier then he has ever been since we have dated, so our time together is precious and I don't want to spoil with my face behind a camera. So bare with me and hope to have so video coming your way real soon...

The Cove

During my moms visit, I somehow convinced her to stay an extra night and I am so glad I did. We spent her last day laying around and watching movies but in the evening we went for dinner at one of my new favorite local spots, The Cove. It sits on a lake and is a great place to watch the water and sounds of boats pass by, the food is delicious, and the company was even better. It was an amazing week.

And the tradition begins..

Something that became very obviously to me this past visit of my mother's is that she does not only come to Nashville to see me. I think she really comes for the biscuits... Loveless Cafe biscuits that is.

That is always the first thing on her list to do when she is here and no matter how many tourist or over crowded or how long the wait is, we will probably do it every time she comes.

My weekend

1. Having my beautiful mom into visit

3. Seeing my sexy man sing and play

4. Lazy cats soaking up the summer sun

5. watching lighting bugs dance on the back porch

6. curling up in a blanket my great grandmother made

Just because...

CMA FEST!

Well lovelies, CMA Fest is starting this week

which means I will be busy helping out Guitar Hero any way I can

all while enjoying the festive week as much as possible.

My mom is on her in way to join me and hopefully I will take you all along too

P.S. The medicine really seemed to help Encore. He is doing much better. Thank you for all your concerns and reach outs.

When he hurts, I hurt.

My baby, Encore has been in a lot of pain. Somehow, he managed to hurt is leg without us knowing how. He has been crying out whenever he puts pressure on his leg. We rushed him to the vet but he acted really brave around all the new people and wouldn't let them know where it hurt the most. We ended up with some pain medicine to help ease it but for the most part it's been hard day for all of us. I am just so unbelievably thankful for Guitar Hero. He dropped all his plans for today to be with us and to keep me from balling my eyes out more then I already was. Sometimes I don't know what I would do without him.

Here is a fun little photo below though. This was taken on our way home from the vet. Encore was getting to experience a car ride with the windows down... he REALLY, REALLY liked it :)

Sonic, a little late night date.

The other night we decided to load the puppy up

and head on over to Sonic for some yummy, yet unhealthy late night snacks.

But hey, sometimes milkshakes and onion rings are a must!

I am just thankful that Guitar Hero does not judge me for my late night snack choices

or for that matter that I wore my bed time slippers on our little date.
