My very first outfit post!

I love clothing, probably more then I should admit. I really love dressing people up. I pretty much filled Guitar Hero's closet up with clothes since we have been dating, and since we have been dating he gets non stop compliments on his outfits. I also, love styling my brother (who will wear pretty much anything daring... so fun) and my sissy. So, it only seemed fitting to start doing outfit post. Now, if you all would not like to see that on this blog please let me know and I would be willing to start a new blog for outfits. But I hope you all like it... because it makes me VERY happy... especially when I can combined outfits with photography!

outfit details:
Under Shirt: Forever 21
Sweater: Wet Seal
Hat: Forever 21
Jeans: too old to remember
Boots: Forever 21

and yes I shop more places then forever 21, but for some reason this whole outfit came from there.

The word "NO!"

The other day, my sissy had me rolling in laughter over my little nephew, Conner's updates. I love hearing how he is so different every week. It's almost unreal how fast kids learn, change, and grow. For instance, it's only been 3 weeks since I have seen him and he already has a full head of hair compared to last time.

However, the part that got me laughing was the word "NO" she has been trying to teach him. He his in testing stage and seeing how far he can push his mamas buttons. It use to be where when she said the word "NO!" he would stop what he was doing and find something else. As of now, when she says "NO!" he usually tries smacking her hand and keeps on at it. Now, I don't have kids so it is easy for me to laugh at this (of course never in front of Conner) but I know this must be a hard and frustrating age to deal with and my sissy Brandi is such a wonderful mother and is actually raising an amazing son. I look forward to watching her become a mother of a 2nd child and see how gracefully she will handle two kids.

All pictures were stolen off my sissy facebook account and the one below was just too funny not to post. That is my sissy and their dog, Cash, pretty much caught in the act of the crime.

Just a little thank you.

Dearest Guitar Hero, Thank you for all you have done lately. I know I have had a lot going on and you have been very helpful. I can't tell you enough, how easy you have made my last few days. With helping out with laundry, doing dishes, and even taking the puppy to your music room (a no puppy zone) so that I can rest. Thank you, again!

Dear Mom and Dad, I would also like to thank you. For letting me call and giving me your words of wisdom when I need it most and always making me feel like everything is going to be ok! Y'all are seriously what keeps me grounded and blessed.

Dear Sissy, Thank you for the phone call, girl chats, and making me smile. You always know what to say at the right time. Also, to my little nephew for blowing me kisses over the phone, it was the highlight of my day! Can't wait to see you both VERY soon!!!

Dear Brother, Thank you for the encouraging words on my work I have been doing lately. It feels good to hear that from you. Someone who knows about what I am doing and the fact that we can share a passion in the same thing only brings us closer!

That Face.

Always makes me smile, even when he has done something wrong
and I want to be mad at him.

Like, peeing on the floor then stepping in it and tracking it thru the house
or eating my shoes and bitting tiny holes in my new clothes.
Yes, after all those things... I still love him!

Tasti D-lite Date!

For months now, I have been dying to try Tasti D-lite but for some odd reason it has never worked out. So, last night on our way to see our friend play in a show that happened to be right near it, I jumped on the chance to go and I am glad I did. While, we arrived 30mins till close I felt the pressure of picking one of their 100s of flavors, I even joked with Guitar Hero that it might have been the hardest decision I make all week. But I went with brownie batter, and yum it was good!

Growing Boy!

Our baby is growing so fast that I know I wont be able to carry him like this for much longer. In fact it is barely possible now. I can remember when I could pick him up and spin him around like nothing. However, a big dog is what we wanted and a big dog is what we are getting.

Today, I'm a proud mama!

This morning, we got in the car and took a little drive to Franklin. I love Franklin, it is by far one of my favorite spots in Nashville. But today was special for another reason completely! This was one of the first times we were able to get Encore to take a walk without running for the door. He is finally becoming a big boy and wanting to be more adventures! It probably also helped that home was not there to run back to but I am still happy and he seemed to really enjoy himself.

Now, if we can only get him to pose for the camera we will be set!

Our Weekend in Black and White.

Encore, meet snow!

WE GOT SNOW! Yes, I am very excited and yes I really can't wait to take Encore out in it and take tons and tons of photos but I have to wait till tomorrow (to many things to do today, to go out in it). Snow, please stay till then and keep coming down as long as you can! As for now though, I can enjoy this little snap shot of Encore on his potty break.
