Have a fairytale weekend...

Due to the Royal Wedding which I sadly could not attend because my invitation got lost somewhere in the mail (It's ok William and Kate, I forgive you). I still decided to attend on my couch.

I had said before that I do not follow the Royal couple, nor do I know anything about them but that changed over the last week when that became the only thing to watch on T.V. and like most of the 2 billion people that tuned in watching, I got anxious to see Kate and William tie the knot. Not to mention what the dress and the bride was going to look like... o, and the kiss!

And I must say I was pleased with all of it. The wedding, the hats (o, those hats), the dress, the uniforms (well, hello Prince Harry...j/k I already have my hero) and the bride herself who couldn't have seemed more fit for such an event. She was stunning and perfect and was made to be a Princess (like all girls). It was a moment I am glad I got to see in my life.

I actually became so overcome with all the Royal Wedding buzz of the day that afterwards when I went to the book store I found myself going thru the Kate and William book section and ended up picking up a few items. Which by the way the book on how to become a princess is the best book EVER!!!! You must check it out!!! And of course no Royal day is fit without a crown... luckily I always have one on hand... I'm a princess, after all.

All in the clothes...

The other day while hanging out with friends, I somehow got talked into playing a dance game. Trust me when I say, I tried everything in my power to get out of it, but nothing worked. I even gave them the excuses that I was not dressed to dance... which lead to the outfit below. However, I will admit, it did bring out my gangsta style groves! Who would have imaged clothes made such a difference.

(love matts face in this, he is so serious about this game)

(my moves, and realizing that matt was not dancing next to me like he was supposed to be)
(more gangsta moves)

Scenes from Hillsboro Village.

Over the weekend me and Guitar Hero took a little break together to have lunch/dinner at Bosco's and while they are known for their beer (which neither of us drink) they actually have some very delicious food, too. I am still dreaming about their garlic parmesan cheese fries.

A wonderful weekend was had by all.

While I didn't get to spend as much time with Guitar Hero as I would have liked, I still had a wonderful weekend. There was egg dying, photography lessons, dance offs, cookouts, cake pop overload, and unexpected gifts. I love this city and all it has offered me. The people I have met and the things I get to do have been a blessing. I am so very happy.

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter!

Dear Starbucks, I think you may have just met your match!...

Tuesday night, I got together with some of my favorite ladies, which I do every month for girls night. We usually just do dinner and movie and catch up with everyones life. This month we decided to switch things up and do a baking night... and what else better to bake then cake pops, right?!

It was super easy and fun. Everyone can do this and there are so many other fun things you can do with cake pops (just see here). You can also, pick up her book at target with all the ideas. Which is what we did. Expect we wanted to start off with easy ones just to make sure we could do it first. Now, that we conquered the cake pops (plus they were better than Starbucks) I want to try the other types.

Why I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him...

Because seeing how he is with my nephew
makes my heart melt.
I know we talk about maybe not having kids sometimes
but every time I see him with Conner
It makes me see what a wonderful dad he would be
and how amazing it would be to start a family with him.

(P.S. don't you love how Conner is stepping on his foot to get his Uncle Guitar Hero's attention?)

Sissy and me {and conner too}

Conner was a little camera shy, plus he just wanted down to play near the water {of course we would never let that happen}.

These are just a few more pictures of my sister and me. Told you we took a lot more pictures. I just get camera happy when they are in town.

Pregnant women love cupcakes...

While my sissy was in town, I had to take her to Nashville's famous Gigi's cupcakes and let me tell you... she LOVED it! Thought she was going to buy the whole store.

The one where my pregnant sister out did me!

This may be a tad bit hard for you to believe but... my PREGNANT sister is obviously more skilled then me when it comes to jumping. It took her one time.. yes, one time to get the perfect jump shot above. For me it took, 4 (or at least 4 I am willing to share haha) O, man I need to work on my skills.

A glimpse into my weekend (many more pictures to come)

I wish, I wish, I wish.. I feel like every time family visits I wish they lived closer. I love all my family so much that it hurts they all live so far away. But it does make each time they visit extra special.

This weekend, my sissy, her husband, my little rockstar conner, and the bun in the oven all came to visit me. It was more wonderful then ever. We ate cupcakes, and laughed, and played, and talked about old times and future things to come.

I can't believe my sissy is already getting ready to have her 2nd baby in Aug (doesn't she look stunning as mother and pregnant lady?). I am trilled to be able to spoil another niece/nephew. Being an Aunt is such a joy.

P.S. that is a baby robins egg in the first picture below her belly.
