The book was written from each characters view point. How did it make you look at the characters?

Here are a list of all the characters:

Sara: the mother of Kate, Anna, and Jesse

Brian: the father of Kate, Anna, and Jesse

Jesse: the son of Sara, and Brian

Kate: the daughter with cancer

Anna: sister to Kate; suing her parents for rights of her body

Campbell: Anna's lawyer

Julie: advocate assigned to Anna's case.

Do you think it was unfair for Sara (Anna's mother) to never ask Anna for help on Kate's medical needs?


Were you surprised when you found out that Kate was behind Anna's actions for suing her parents?


Why did you think Campbell aways lied about his service dog?


Did you ever feel sorry for Jesse even though he was rebelling?


Brian (Anna's dad) was willing to support Anna then went back on his word when he was asked by Campbell. Why do you think he did this?
